You're so lucky that your store gets to close. I've been working at my store for just over two years now, and we've always been 24-hours. Three months in they closed the old store and opened the new one right next door that they had been building while we were in business. Anyways, drive-thru has always been open 24-hours, but about a month ago we started opening lobby 24-hours. It's very inconvenient when it's 3am with breakfast and lunch at the same time and you get $180 orders many times.
Yikes! We get big orders sometimes, but I think the personal largest I’ve seen is about fifty dollars. I certainly don’t live in a big city though, we’re kinda small, so that’s probably why.
I could imagine if we were open 24 hours, whoever had that graveyard shift would mostly sit around listening to music and playing Magic the Gathering.

I also can’t imagine how crazy your schedules must be as well with that! I hope you have some kind of consistency at least.
